Friday, August 9th, the two offices of FRSCPA (Florida and North Carolina) gathered to discuss and explore the need for teamwork.
The agenda began with our current client and McDonald’s O/O Clint Gulley, as he shared how teamwork comes into play with his team. He stressed factors such as Culture, Communication, Connection, Commitment, Caring, and being Positively Contagious and how these attributes make teams better!
Next, Martha Ford, CPA shared how FRSCPA uses vital teamwork on a daily basis from contributing our skills, to communicating pertinent information, and by simply staying connected on a day to day basis with a positive attitude.
The team then heard from Managing Partner, Paul Horowitz, CPA who shared information about amazing new clients the firm works with to provide solutions to assist with their financial success.
Next, Ana Herron, CPA recognized all of our new team members that have joined FRSCPA, and presented long-term members with service awards for their commitment to FRSCPA.
Joan Gibbons, CPA and Jimmy Cholerton wrapped up the meeting portion by sharing insight of the firm’s current involvement and commitment to its McDonald’s clients through NFCA and the NFLA.
FRSCPA finished the afternoon off with the entire firm participating in Competition to CollaborationTM hosted by Best Corporate Events, LLC. Events ranged from organizing decks of cards, to putting together wood puzzles, and then moving a ping ball from one side of the room to the other. The Blue vs White team competed fiercely, but we came to determine we are all winners!
